I called Sunshine & Moons just a few days before traveling to Glenwood Springs on a getaway trip with my family. I needed a last second solution for a custom birthday cake and WOW did they come through. The cake was phenomenal - better than most wedding cakes I've had in fact. Sunshine and Moons made our wedding dessert dreams come true. They made desserts specific to our allergy sensitivities and worked with us to make ice cream sandwiches in the middle of July. I will order from them any chance I get:)
Sunshine and Moons ever since they have opened have treated us like we are family when we visit their establishment. They have great confections, cookies, breads, and the same with alternative ingredients. If you need some gluten free items, vegan, or just some regular items they are the place to get them from. I would highly recommend going here for your treat or for your next event you need some desert items for.
We booked Sarah for our wedding and she was great to work with and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the tasting, all the samples were so delicious it made it hard to choose, but our cake came out spectacular with fondant, cream cheese icing, vanilla almond cake, and raspberry filling. We gave Sarah a number of photos of what style we were looking for and she exceeded our expectations, the cake ended up looking better than the reference point we gave her from Pinterest. We would highly recommend her services.
Sarah is a fabulous baker! I used her for my wedding in February she was able to bring my cake design to life and it was delicious! She was also able to offer us peppermint bark and caramels for our sundae bar which were gone in about two seconds. I really enjoyed that she sticks to natural ingredients including natural food dyes. All around awesome desserts.
