Bought a couch and chair set. Good value, and looks nice. Sales staff was helpful but not pushy.
My family and I visit this store and had a horrible time. We purchased a coat hanger that would not install correctly and returned it for an exchange. We were told that it was repaired and we can take it back, but it didn't even make it to my truck. The person that repaired it, broke it and tried to hide it and give it back to us. We also purchased a large glass wall art and was told that it would be wrapped, boxed and placed into our vehicle. We pulled up to pick it up and it was not boxed or wrapped and the person loading it up was no help at all. My wife and I had to figure out a way to safely fit this picture into our vehicle on our own. We will never visit this store again or shop online.
I went in to buy a bed. Walked around for 30 minutes, passed several employees, none of which acknowledged me. Finally asked for help and the guy just pointed me in the direction and walked away. I went next door to The Denver mattress company, I was greeted right as I walked in. They were very helpful, had better prices and more of a selection. Ended up buying a bed from them and will most likely never shop at American Furniture Warehouse again.
Horrible customer service. Went to go buy a new bed, spent half an hour looking, and not one person came to help us. Ended up leaving and spending my money elsewhere.
Ms. Claudia Siegel, it was your mistake that you charge me twice for the same item, not mine. This lady made a mistake with some furniture that I bought, a black tub-chair and bookshelf. She duplicated one item and charged me twice for it on my debit card but didn't charge me for the bookshelf. When I went to the back to pick up my purchased items I realized that she had made a mistake. My receipt said that I bought 2 tub-chairs, which was wrong. I went back to the store so they can fix the error and I saw Claudia still at the register. So I walked towards her thinking that she could help me since she was not helping other customers and especially since she made the transaction. As soon as she saw me she pointed me with a very rude manner to the direction of someone at customer service (I'm not sure her name). Claudia didn't ask if everything was okay, did even say anything. She just pointed in a different direction. So I explained the mistake to customer service and this person immediately starts the returning process to my debit card for the tub-chairs. She then told me that I should be receiving my refund soon. So I had no chair or bookshelf. I had to explain myself one more time that I wanted the chair AND the bookshelf not 2 chairs. At that point Claudia, who was nearby listening, realized that she had made a mistake and called me to her work station and started talking to me! Now that she realized that she screwed up she started her robotic customer service script with me while she was fixing her mistake. By this point I'm not interested in receiving her fake customer service or listening to anything she had to say. I paid for my two items and left. This feedback is not about a mistake that Claudia made. We are all human. It is about the way she treated me when I went back inside. I came back to AFW because I believe in second chances but Claudia ruined it. Do not count on me returning again.
