Would take the time and effort to find this restaurant and enjoy a great meal! Owner is a crazy fun person and enjoy going there every time! Make a effort to get to know the owner! Love the shrimp, cat fried cat fish, rice & beans, spicy French fries! Everything is always good! Would recommend this place to everyone! Place is just under the bridge and parking is in the back!
The fried catfish was good. The one hesitancy is the poboys. We ordered the sausage one and it didn't have aoli sauce. Next time we'd go all in on the gumbo, because it was off the charts.
When my husband and I came in for our anniversary, they gave us samples of the different gumbos and whatnot, that made our decision of what to eat so hard. The were all so amazing. We started off with the alligator bites and they were juicy and very flavorful. My husband got the fried catfish plate and I got a cup of the seafood gumbo and a cup of the red beans and rice. It was all delicious and the portion sizes were really big!! They also gave us complimentary treats for our anniversary! Staff was extremely friendly and personable! We will be coming back when we are in this area again!

Awesome. Totally captures that sumptuous Cajun flavor that can be so elusive outside of Louisiana. Highly recommend the gumbos. They give you a sampler when you sit down so you know which one to enjoy. Big portions.
Gave samples of all 6 soup/gumbos, so we could choose. Great fish and chips for the kids, Seafood platter outstanding. The parents own the place, the son is the chef, and the daughter waits tables. Overall wonderful experience (despite the construction).
