This is a very nice station with a lovely waiting area and railroad museum that is open on the weekend. It is directly across from a nice hotel with some boutique shops and coffee shop as well as Glenwood Springs Brew Public which is fantastic. If you can stop in Glenwood it is an awesome place.
Occasionally take the train to Glenwood Springs to visit my family in Rifle Colorado. It always feels great to get to this station.
Great vintage train depot! Hot springs pool and vapor caves are very therapeutic. Great restaurants within walking distance of pool and lodge.
The employees and people that are at the station are always friendly and happy to help if they can. There are all kinds of things to do within a 5-7 minute walk from the station. From hotels , shopping , food , drinks , parks Beautyfull views and on and on. A wonderful place to see!
