Good beer nice spot. I enjoyed the Vapor Cave IPA the Southwestern Ravioli was good, a bit spicy but still good. I will definitely be back if I make back out here.
This was our first time at Glenwood Canyon Brewing co. When entering, we were welcomed and greeted, and promptly seated being asked if it was to our liking. Our waiter was quick to get our drink order to us. He was knowledgeable and professional. Our nachos came out quickly, well made and well presented.
As we stayed at the Hotel Denver right next door for 3 days, we visited this brewpub every night. Overall the brewpub has good service and pretty good food. There was a pretty good selection of beer available at the brewpub (about 10-12 different beers) and while all were good, 3 of them were really good. We found the price to be a bit high for both the beer and the food (which was why I awarded it only 4 stars). If I am in Glenwood Springs again, I will visit this brewpub again.
My wife had the canyon burger, and I had the bourbon salmon. The chips that came with my wife's burger were made in house and made for a unique alternative to the standard French fries. The burger was good and hearty. My salmon was served with wild rice pilaf and seasoned green bowens. Everything was delicious! To round it off, we shared a root beer float made with their house made root beer which was also delicious.
Really impressed with their brews. Decent pub fare. Good size yet feels cozy. Good place for a pint with a friend or big groups. They were super kid friendly during Saturday happy hour.
Good food and brews. Service was excellent. I had the Salmon pasta and it was excellent. My friend had fish and chips, which were very good. The only complaint was a server, who was not our server, brought our entrees out almost immediately after our appetizers. Our server came by and apologized for that. Not sure how that got past him. Otherwise everything was great.
Overall the service, atmosphere, and food were all great, and if we ever find ourselves back here in Glenwood, we will definitely come here again!
