We came in late the night before Thanksgiving. The service was impeccable and we were taken care of to the highest standard. The even made sure we had extra take out with our leftovers incase nothing was ooen the next day. Delicious as well!
Great food, intimate atmosphere and excellent service! Get there right before 5p to get seated promptly
The atmosphere and service were great but the food was marginal at best and for two entrees and two glasses of wine the tab was over $70. Each glass of wine was 10 bucks and the white wine was warm and certainly did not warrant the $10 price tag. The red sauce that came on the chicken parm was burnt and so heavy with peppers that it doesn’t qualify as a marinara sauce. However, our waitress was perfectly attentive and cordial. Not sure if the quality of the food was a fluke or standard issue since I’ve only been once but with that price tag I’m not willing to repeat visit to find out.
Can't review the food because the service was so bad we left before ordering drinks. We showed up about an hour before closing and walked down the stairs to see only one table sat in the whole place. We waited at the bottom of the stairs while the staff stared at us for about two minutes. Finally we were approached by a hostess and offered a table as I sat down I watched the assigned waitress say "unbelievable" to the hostess. Again this is an hour prior to their closing at 10pm. The waitress came up to our table rolled her eyes and asked what we would like to drink. We stood up and left. I have never done this in another restaurant in my life. My family has owned restaurants for 40 years and I completely understand showing up even 30 mins before closing is kind of bad form as the kitchen is closing up and breaking things down but we were there a full hour prior to the posted closing time and the attitude we experienced was unbelievable. There are so many other great places to eat in Glenwood including Italian options, I highly recommend choosing another establishment based on our treatment.
WOW! This place surpassed all of my expectations! It was busy when we got there so instead of waiting 30 minutes we say at the bar. The bartender was amazing! She was very helpful and really showed she cared about helping us. The food was amazing! From the salad to the entree and the desert! Great prices go with the food and service!
