We had a lot of fun at the pool during our trip! I actually went to both this pool and the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and honestly both are amazing but for different reasons. I had a young kiddo with me so obviously the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool was perfect for her to play around in, swim and enjoy. There is a hotter, smaller pool (still very large though) that said was 104° that we kept going back and forth into. It had a few metal chairs with bubble jets which was fun, just had to wait for one to open up, I believe it has 6 total but only 3 were working properly. There are slides as well that we didn't try this time. Definitely more family friendly throughout here than at Iron Mountain which is more about the relaxing vibes with the amazing views and quiet area pools.
Glenwood Springs is one of our favorite mini vacations. A few times a year it's a nice getaway to soak in the pool. The smaller pool (when you first walk outside) is very warm. Folks mostly just sit around or on the chairs with the spa jets. While the larger pool (diving board included) is not as warm, it's still soothing with space to swim. There's also a water slide that is pretty fun, when it's open. The locker rooms are kept clean. Staff sprays lockers and showers. Lots of life guards keep watch very well. They also have good hours. I like that the pool is open til 10pm. They even have holiday hours. They've got you covered if you need a towel (rental), swim wear etc. (shop inside), food (restaurant inside). There are many nice hotels around to stay at close to Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. It's great to visit anytime of the year.
Super love this place!!! Its a 5 hr drive, but well worth it.. People are friendly, and nice to talk to. Kids make friends and have a blast together. I've been coming here since I was 3 months old. The only down side is the gift shop is super pricey, almost everything was a $100 or more; their crazy!!!! It would also be nice to have some water toys for the kids.. All in all, great trip, beautiful views.
Love coming here. It's got a huge main pool. This is the largest hot springs pool in the world. Seriously large enough to lose your friends in. Large enough to get your own little area to play in, even on the busiest days. Lots of lockers if you'd like, multiple swimming lanes, a diving board, small food shop, two slides (though I don't exactly recommend them since they cost money to go on, I'm here to relax), unexpectedly large hot tub that is very relaxing. Also has a kiddy pool for the littlest ones. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a day with the family or as a couple.
Great BIG hot springs pool here! Its olympic size with a smaller much hotter pool as well. Great way to unwind and relax after a good hike or bike ride or just to forget daily life for a while. This hot springs does attract a lot of tourists. So be aware of families with small children running around. Aside from that it is still a relaxing and beneficial experience. I have visited 3 or 4 times
