Got a couples massage here. As per the multiple negative posts and suggestions customers get there 5-10 minutes early, we arrived 5 minutes early. Despite no customers actually being there at the time they needed to get the room ready, and ushered us in about 5 minutes late. Between that and the steam shower (was not pitched as optional despite the owner's comments on reviews here), the massage didn't start until 10 minutes into our appointment. Despite asking what our trouble spots were they barely spent any time on them. It was more like a generic massage, and to echo others on here it wasn't a very good one. Massage ended at 13 minutes till the hour, making a grand total of 37 minutes of actual massage after paying for an hour. Nobody needs 13 minutes to get dressed, we were in our car going home before our massage was supposed to end.
Had a great experience at the La Provence spa. Definitely will be going back next time we come in town.
I love this place! I've become a regular. For my first massage I was a bit early, so I was offered the option of a steam bath that was included in my time, which made sense. It was up to me to be ready for my massage. My massage was very skilled and professional. Now the optional steam is only available upon request. Glad I know that! I love the heavy French accent of one of the owners.
Was a little worried at first because it's located in the basement, but got one of the best massage and facial in a very european style. The lady was really nice and had a great accent, it was an awsome experience.
Made an appt for a lash fill. Woman at the front desk was not very pleasant and quoted $100 for a two-week fill. So very disappointed.
I'm always somewhat skeptical of very negative reviews, and am generally willing to give a place a shot, but this place really lived up to the negativity. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.
