This place is great. Beautiful, natural underground hot saunas. Very relaxing. Massages and mineral baths are a bit overpriced but it's worth it. They also have a very nice sunroom to relax, drink water and cool off before another go in the vapor caves.

Yikes!! This is such a scary place! No offense, but I was frightened by the caves!! I encouraged my family.. (90$..no refund) to come to the caves, for an experience as seen online..which is a complete bait and switch.. it is a scary dark, undirected set of caverns/caves that are extremely hot, which is not problem, the problem is, is that, the photos are so deceiving... it is a scene out of a hostile like scary movie with heat added on top.. three of my family members walked out and were ignored immediately.. the front desk gals could care less...do not pay attention to the photos... it is NOT what you get.....
Formerly called The Vapor Caves, the Yampah Spa & Salon has spiffed up the vapor cave image. The therapeutic use of the hot spring caves goes back 120 years. Natural spring water with a temperature around 125F runs along the floor of these caves. Suspended walkways just above the water save visitors' feet and allow the water to create a steam atmosphere approaching 100% humidity. The result is one of my favorite places on earth to relax. Imagine hanging out in a small alcove with the penetrating heat relaxing every muscle in your body, then to keep your wits you spray yourself with one of the hoses that supplies cooler water. After as long of a session that you feel is comfortable, you go upstairs and relax on a massage table in a peaceful space. Ah Satori !!
Heavenly place. Have to go here every 3 months to heal and cleanse. Great hospitality.
