Nice remodeling facelift of inside and outside. Food still decent. But the employees could use some uniform grooming and attire.
They were short staffed and when we tried to order cheese sticks, they told us they were almost out of dough so we couldn't order them. We also got a salad bar add-on but after looking at the lettuce and saw how wilty looking it was we had them take it off our bill so we didn't eat any... the pizza we got was pretty good though.
We have been frequent pizza hutters for the last 5 years and have had an excellent experience every time. Today, I went in for the first time in three months and it was a disaster. Pizzas were not ready, salad bar was bare, no pasta, and no dipping sauces for the bread sticks or cinnamon sticks. The woman in charge was yelling from the buffet to the kitchen for orders. I had to grab my own silverware and we had to fill our own drinks. She seemed offended that we didn't leave a tip but why? It's not entirely self served. Not to mention, the pizza had a strange film on it that has made me ill this following evening. I'm not sure what happened to the original staff but something needs to be changed. When I met my boyfriend there, he was wiping down our table with a napkin. This used to be a frequent luncheon of ours but at this point, I consider never returning.
I'm not a pizza person but got a gift certificate so I went to try out their pizza. I interacted with 3 members of staff and only ONE was nice to me. First I was ignored at the counter then when someone came and took my order I was not directed to take a seat or anything and it was only when prompted I was told how long I'd have to wait. I observed that other diners were not treated in this manner. Second I told them I was eating there and I was not offers any plates or napkins or utensils. It was only when prompted the one nice guy assisted me and commented that he was surprised that I was not told of this. Like I said this was my first time there so I was unaware that I could not eat from the salad bar. I was rudely informed of this by the sulky and unpleasant guy who ignored me earlier. The only good part of my visit was when the nice guy asked if I was enjoying my meal etc to which my response was no then I left after eating 3 slices of my large pizza ( I was pretty hungry) then asking them to toss the rest !
Will never set foot in that place again! Good riddance !
We placed our order over the phone and the person on the phone was very nice we got there 10 minutes later and the lovely Sherry greeted us . our first pizza came out for my husband and it looked great I asked them to leave mine no longer because I like it slightly crispy and they did. food was decent everyone was nice and no one was grumpy even though we came right before closing
