What a hidden gem! We will be back. The facilities are nice and clean. The view of the mountain side and River are stunning. The staff All were really pleasant and helpful. We are so happy and pleased with our stay.
We stop at this campground every year for a day or two on our drive home from a business trip. The campgroubd is clean and well kept. And if your camper is small enough, the sites down by the river are amazing.
Beautiful location. Close to the hot springs. My only concern is they do not have individual tent sites away from the river. We had to camp in group camping and share a grill and fire pit with 6-8 other sites. They have 2 bath houses and laundry facilities.
I was definitely impressed with Glenwood canyon resort. I absolutely loved the location, we set up our tent right next to the river, saw deer and the train going by, listened to the water flow as we slept, it was perfect! The grounds and the bathrooms were kept very clean and they even have a restaurant and bar right on sight. Plus you can set up rafting, zip lining and a rock wall obstacle course, super cool!
Great location. Glenwood is an amazing town, and worth going to. They don't have a pool, which was a minor letdown, and the clothes Washing station needs a significant improvement.
All in all, a great stop along the way.
