Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It was better than our expectation and fit our needs perfectly for a weekend in Glenwood Springs.
To be honest, just by looking online we were not sure of this place. After staying here however we would definitely recommend it. Here are some highlights:
Room: The room was especially large with a sofa bed, a refrigerator, and microwave.
What we love about Hampton Inn is that you get solid consistency. You know what you are getting, and it's almost always great. The staff here at the Glenwood Springs hotel are right up my alley. Fun, playful, slightly sarcastic (in the best way), and take care of you whatever your needs happen to be. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is that the pool is pretty small and very no-frills. But that's a small complaint in the grand scheme of things.
I love the Hampton brand and travel a lot for work. This Hampton Inn is on par with some of the best great location right by the hot springs Adventure Land and plenty of fine eateries you can walk across the bridge to downtown town really easily there's beautiful hikes and trails as for the hotel nothing wrong with it at all they've got everything that you would expect in a Hampton. I will stay there again.
Place is super clean, friendly staff, and probably my favorite thing is the indoor pool and hot tub that are salt water instead of chlorine. Nice to be able to swim in water not full of chemicals. We'll definitely come back and stay here again.
Amentities: The pool was small with an interesting green tint. The fitness area was small, with just enough amenities barely enough room for a couple of people. The breakfast was an average Hampton Inn breakfast with simple hot foods.
Location: One of our favorite things about this place is the location. It is a very easy walk to the Glenwood Caverns gondola, and a slightly longer walk to both of the hot springs, and downtown.
Price: Besides the location the price was another plus. It was one of the best price in all of Glenwood that we could find online.
The room was clean and pleasantly appointed. The bed was comfortable enough and I slept much better than expected. Breakfast is what you would expect and done nicely. The sack food on the way out in the morning is a nice touch.
