There is a beautiful view from our room. There is also a lot of space to hang out in common areas but not much in the individual rooms. It's about a 25 minute drive from Glenwood which is nice for peace and quiet but may be a bit far for some. Overall this was a decent place and we enjoyed our stay. However the beds are really uncomfortable, that's my biggest complaint.
We had our wedding up at the resort and had most of the family stay at the Bed and Breakfast. Outstanding experience and this is not like your normal B&B.
2) There is a FULL bar in the bottom of the lodge. It was perfect for entertaining and getting food options (since there is nothing else close) at night.
4) Pets are allowed which was also important to us.
1) Every room has its own bathroom. Although a little outdated the rooms were very cozy and extremely well kept.
Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this option for a small wedding or family gathering. The scenery is as good as it gets and the pricing was very affordable for a destination wedding (we combined with Sunlight Ski Lodge for our ceremony and reception).
Plus, the pictures are the view from the rooms. :)
The workers there were incredibly nice! Lots of rooms to stay in, and the backyard had a beautiful firepit, tons of seating and a volleyball sand court all next to a little creek. Free pool table next to the cozy bar. Was further away from the actual town, Glenwood Springs, but still a beautiful drive to and from. I definitely recommend this B&B.
I love the time I spent there! It is a cozy place. It is great for relationship. Great for hiking and to explore nature. There is not TV in the rooms but there are 2 one in a family area and another in the bar.The staff are friendly and the breakfast are healthy and well elaborated.
3) The Inn Keeper Jason and his whole staff were great! We had a bonfire at night which they helped prepare and kept the bar open later than usual just for our group. Not to mention being super accommodating with room details, breakfast times, etc.
This lodge is amazing. It's clean, it's right on the river, and it has a down home feel. It's pet friendly and has all the amenities you could need.
