Great location right near the adventure park and got springs. The room was clean and modern, it looked like it had been newly renovated. The continental breakfast had a lot of good choices and the staff was very friendly.
BEWARE: DO YOURSELF A FAVORITE AND PICK ANOTHER HOTEL IN GLENWOOD SPRINGS.This is the worst management and hotel staff I have ever dealt with. My wife and I saved up for our year anniversary, when our rental cars gas tank started leaking half way up the mountain. I explained the situation to the hotel and they said it is what it is and still charged us. I even offered to move the reservation to next week and they had no empathy and concern for the situation at all. The fact that they did not care that our 1 year anniversary was just destroyed, shows how little they care about people. This is the worst service I've ever received from a Marriott and I'll never use a Residence inn again. They blamed the whole thing on a manager, then when I asked for him, he wasn't even there. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. Especially since I said I would come back next weekend if they could just change the reservation and save our anniversary. I guess we'll just have to save up to do it some other time and we 100% will never stay at this Residence inn.
Really liked our room and I like the location setting in Glenwood. It has a good breakfast. Friendly Staff. My only problem was its not sound proof. Heard the people above us quite a bit.
Having stayed at numerous Marriott proprieties in the past, I was truly surprised and disappointed about the extremely poor condition of the two bedroom suite. The carpets were stained and in definite need of replacement. The furniture in the open space area (couch and chair) was ripped, dirty and also needed to be replaced. When I brought these problems to the attention of the front desk and asked for another room, I expected there would be no issues with this request. Unfortunately, that did not occur, as they were allegedly fully booked. What was even more surprising was the fact that they admitted they knew about the poor condition of the room, advising me that they planned to renovate it and other rooms on the floor. As it was too late to find a room at another hotel, we had no choice but to stay at the Marriott. The only silver lining is we only had to stay one night, albeit at a rate grossly far in excess of the value of the room given its poor condition. Overall, a bad experience.
I stayed here for two weeks while waiting to move into my house. Very nice location and the ladies at the front desk were very pleasant. Very nice and clean rooms too.
